PRE-CORONA, CORONA AND POST-CORONA ERA (OUR PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE)

BY
    AGBOITEME DANIEL OITHABUME

It occurs to me our perfect mistakes in the past when we had the opportunity to take care of our present and actually plan for our tomorrow.
Pre-corona
Your land is good and fertile, plant on it?
I don’t need to dear, I don’t stay at home so I don’t need it.
You have a good kitchen, please stock your store?
I don’t need it dear, I can as well go to any restaurant of my choice and get anything.
You have a nice hospital structure, equip it?
I don’t need it dear, I can will fly to India even if it just flu.
Imagine this questions and the reply
We have all the opportunities to better our present but we refused.
Look at it now, no where to run to.
Corona
The land you abandoned, look at yourself
Your ditties have been exposed

The kitchen you should have stocked, look at yourself
Your campaign of calumny has been tamed

The hospital you failed to equipped, look at yourself
Your cowardice has led us to an abyss
Tell us
Say to us
Oh wise one
Where to find spittle to quench our lingering thirst

Tell us
Say to us
Oh plane flyer
Where to sail out lives?

The worst of all is that you didn’t learn your lesson from your word
Sheepishly  still extorting instead of creating a remedies.
You have the opportunity to correct and prepare for the worst to come.
Post-corona
Not certain yet but you should know that everything that have a beginning has an end. There’s hope!
Make correct for tomorrow so that your infants won’t punch you at the face. It is attainable. Learn from the fog of your stupidity!
May God give us strength to withstand and survive this pandemic period. I wish you could say a loud Amen!
I stand for hope
Post-corona era our new hope
