STOOD STILL BY BONIFACE EBENEZER@ Arisepen#Be

Days flooded into months
And months saluted years yet you stood still

In you we watch lullabies
Of ancient like watching world now in turmoils of boiling anguish but you stood still

You seized in your wits
You seized too to hear?
And what wits untold?
We stood still in wait

You blew breeze to quench this candle in gross darkness and we stood still without light without sight

We stood still to watch you and you stood still watching us without just a word in wait of two?

Your silence of two
Hurls the hurt of now
And we moan and groan
Like refugees in foreignland

Still we stood still
Watching your enigma of motherhood in fashion unseen in Adam's seed

An orphan watch plays
Of children and mothers caressing, hugging and welcoming, yet we stood still without you to call our PETs.
